Rebuilt by SAJO Construction in 1999 and reopened in 2000, Champion Lakes has earned its reputation as one of the premier public facilities in South Texas. The layout is forgiving off the tee, then asks honest questions on approach — fourteen man-made lakes provide some of the most panoramic views in the Valley.
Play it from 5,779 yards in the middle for an honest test, or stretch it to 6,771 from the back tees when you want the full championship experience.

Champions Lake is a proud Drive, Chip & Putt qualifying site, hosting the next generation of Texas golfers in partnership with the USGA, Masters Tournament, and PGA of America.
Range until 10 PM. Dining room with a view.
Lighted Driving Range
Open 7 AM to 10 PM daily (Mondays from 11 AM after maintenance). Mats and grass tees. Lessons available with PGA-certified instructors.
Champion Lakes Dining Room
Breakfast tacos at the turn. Cold beer after the round. Open to golfers and walk-ins, with a patio overlooking the 18th green.
